About

Two dentists, one philosophy

Imitate nature. Preserve structure. Think additive.

Dentistry is a journey of continuous learning, made even more meaningful when shared with people who are passionate about what they do. We founded ANTERIOR to share what our everyday practice has taught us — through courses, through the book, and through the conversations they start.

We look to nature for inspiration. Every tooth tells a story shaped by time, function, and adaptation. Rather than replacing what can be preserved, we strive to understand, respect, and learn from natural design.

How can we achieve more natural results while removing less?

This question has shaped Dr. Eva Otrusinová's clinical and educational journey. It led her to explore biomimetic dentistry, direct composite restorations, resin infiltration, the optical behaviour of dental tissues and minimally invasive treatment concepts.

Based in Brno, Czech Republic, she focuses on restorative and aesthetic dentistry with a strong emphasis on preserving natural tooth structure. Her clinical work combines careful diagnosis, adhesive dentistry and an understanding of light, colour and natural anatomy to create results that are both conservative and visually harmonious.

As an educator, she aims to help clinicians look beyond individual techniques and better understand the principles behind each restorative decision — from material selection and optical integration to anatomy and treatment planning.

Together with Dr. Erika McGregor, she co-authored the book ANTERIOR, dedicated to minimally invasive anterior composite restorations. They are now developing ANTERIOR as an international educational concept, bringing their shared philosophy and clinical approach to courses for dentists worldwide.

Daughter of a dental technician, granddaughter of an artistic glass painter.

Born in Česká Lípa, she grew up in an environment where careful handwork and a feel for detail were second nature. From an early age she found inspiration in fine art at art school — and on the court, competing in both indoor and beach volleyball. Sport instilled in her the determination, discipline and drive to never stop working on herself, whether in play, study or professional life.

She began her medical path with the study of dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, graduating in 2013. Since then she has practised at the Dental Office H33 clinic in Prague, where she has established herself as a specialist in minimally invasive aesthetic reconstructions, prosthodontics and endodontics. She performs all of her work under the microscope, with a precision that comes not only from her training but from an innate sense of detail and beauty.

From the start, her professional journey has been shaped by continuous learning and a desire to pass experience on. Since 2024 she has been teaching hands-on courses and lectures for dentists, helping colleagues develop the skills behind modern, conservative patient care. In January 2025 she published her first book — My Cookbook.
